Sinder Restaurant at Marriott Marina Del Rey: A Mixed Plant-based Experience

Located within the Marriott Marina Del Rey, Sinder Lounge offers a diverse selection of American fare with a stunning view of the ocean. The restaurant, an award-winning gem, boasts a pleasant ambiance and ample outdoor seating, making it an ideal spot to unwind.

Upon entering the hotel lobby, you'll find Sinder Restaurant conveniently situated, making it easily accessible. The overall vibe is inviting, featuring dimmed lighting, a beautiful bar, high-top tables, and comfortable outdoor seating complete with cozy couches and fire pits.

However, for those seeking vegan options, the menu may leave something to be desired. The breakfast selection is limited to fruits, oatmeal and hash browns, and for lunch and dinner, the Mediterranean flatbread stands as the sole vegan option. Comprising hummus, tomato, cucumber, red onions, olives, and Greek oregano (sans feta and olive oil), it offers a flavorful but solitary choice. Additionally, the only dessert option for vegans is sorbet, which we opted to skip.

While the restaurant is a decent choice for hotel guests, the limited plant-based options might not justify a special visit. The slow service further dampens the overall experience, making it less appealing for those looking for a quick and efficient dining experience.

Sinder Restaurant at Marriott Marina Del Rey provides a pleasant atmosphere and diverse menu, but its shortcomings in vegan offerings and slow service may make it less appealing for those with dietary preferences or time constraints.
